Where are they going?

Quite a number of you have asked where we are and where we are going. The plan is represented in the map above, but, if I’ve learned anything about cruising, as it is with most travel; flexibility is key!

When we left Florida, our plan was to stop in Nicaragua before Panama, but the situation in Nicaragua was not conducive to us being there, so we had an extra sea day. Then, we were scheduled to go to Santa Barbara after LA and the weather had other ideas. So, as I mentioned, we turned south from LA to outrun the storm that battered CA. We ended up almost retracing our path back to Baja before turning West towards Hawaii. We were to be in Honolulu one day and on Kauai the next. But Kawai is still suffering from pandemic labor issues and there were not enough bus drivers for our excursions, so we will have an extra day in Honolulu.

Even as far south as we went, the ocean is heaving the ship around with long sets of 20 feet (leftovers from the storm). Fortunately, most of the side-to-side rocking has lessened. Our 5-day trek across the Pacific has turned into rough and rocky 6-day journey. So, stay tuned, who knows what awaits!?
